The Problem

Open P2P games are hard
to find and follow.

Open peer-to-peer game protocols ship without a front door. Rooms come and go, results scatter across logs, and player history lives in fragments. Without a community layer, the protocol is invisible to the people who would play on it.

Arcade21 is that discovery layer.

Bram Cohen, the inventor of BitTorrent, built Chia with an open architecture that lets independent developers ship peer-to-peer games. Arcade21 sits on top, indexing rooms, tracking results, and ranking players so the ecosystem becomes navigable.

The Protocol

Built on a foundation

The underlying P2P protocol uses cryptographic primitives designed for real-time peer-to-peer play. Arcade21 reads from that protocol and presents the data; it does not run the matches. Arcade21 is a recipient of the Chia Cultivation Grant, awarded on the merits of our team, product, and contribution to the Chia ecosystem.

Two players open a channel and play directly, then the protocol settles the outcome in a single verified transaction. Arcade21 indexes the result so it shows up in stats and leaderboards.

Chialisp Contracts
Chia's native smart contract language was designed with security as its primary constraint, not speed or flexibility. Contracts behave exactly as written and cannot be manipulated, which is what makes the protocol trustworthy enough to track.

BLS Signatures
Every game action is bound to cryptographic proof. Each card played, each word guessed, each shot fired carries a signature anyone can verify. Provably fair is a property of the protocol, not a marketing line.
